Dasho Karma Yezer Raydi is the current Chief Executive Officer of DHI and has Master degree in Geotechnical Engineering, from Nippon Institute of Technology, Saitama, Japan and obtained Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, from University of Roorkee, India. He has rich leadership experience acquired over the 27 years of service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum. He started his career in 1989 and since then he shouldered important positions in ministries, financial institutions, authorities and finally as an Eminent Member of National Council from 2008-2013.
Dasho Chewang Rinzin is a Deputy Chamberlain to His Majesty The King of Bhutan, and the Director of the Royal Institute for Governance and Strategic Studies (RIGSS). He headed the team that established the Institute in 2013. Prior to being appointed at RIGSS in 2013 by His Majesty The King, Chewang worked at the Bhutan Standards Bureau (BSB), the National Standards Body of Bhutan. While at BSB, he was a core member of Bhutan’s WTO Negotiating Team, from 2005-2008, as an expert on Technical Barriers to Trade. Chewang has a B.Tech Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the TKM College of Engineering, Kerala University and a Master in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
Dasho Minjur Dorji attended Sherubste College in Kanglung, Bhutan, from 1989 to 1990. He then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering at Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University, India, from 1991 to 1995. In 2000-2001, he completed his M.Sc. in Geo-Information Observation and Earth Science with Specialization in Watershed Management, Environment Conservation, and River Basin Planning from ITC, Netherlands. In 2013, he obtained a Diploma in Urban Management Tools for Climate Change at the International Institute of Urban Management (HIS), Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Minjur's career began with a project engineer role at the UNCDF Project, Food Corporation of Bhutan, where he supervised construction projects for agriculture produce facilities. He then moved to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forest, where he served in various capacities, including Chief Engineer. He has also worked as an Executive Secretary at Thimphu Thromde and S/Jonkhar Thromde, managing overall organizational operations. From 2017 to 2023, he served as the Dzongdag of Chhukha Dzongkhag, overseeing administration and cross-border relations. Currently, he holds the position of Dzongdag at Samste Dzongkhag, managing administrative affairs.
Nagtsho Dorji is the Director of the Department of Culture & Dzongkha Development, which is the central agency responsible for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage including the national language of Bhutan. She is an accomplished professional with a Master’s Degree in Archaeology of Buildings from the University of York, England (2006 – 2007), and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Hisdutan College of Engineering (university of Madras, Chennai, India. 1996 – 2001). With a career spanning over two decades, she has held various roles in theMinistry of Home and Cultural Affairs, Department of Culture, starting as an Assistant Architect in 2002 and progressing to the role of Director in 2020. Her contributions to the conservation of Architectural heritage and heritage sites have been recognized with the prestigious National Order of Merit Gold from His Majesty the King during the 112th National day in 2019.
He is the Director in National Land Commission, Bhutan. He has Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from University of Sydney, Australia and Bachelor of Architecture from Maulana Azad National University of Technology, India. He joined civil service as Urban Planner and served under Ministry of Works and Human Settlement and Thimphu Thromde. He has wide experience in urban planning, implementation of projects, land and property related disputes resolutions, resettlement programs. Served as the member to the drafting of legislations related to land, municipal, building, planning and by-laws. He delivered online course on behalf of World Bank to international participants.
He has MBA from Australian National University, ACT, Australia and Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India. He began his career as Associate Analyst in DHI from 2011 under Corporate Performance Department He has wide knowledge in formulation of corporate strategic plans, organizational development interventions, monitoring and evaluations of performances of DHI and its subsidiaries, explore business opportunities and projects for investment. He is currently serving as Senior Analyst under Department of Investments, DHI.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL) and holds Master’s Degree in Irrigation Engineering and Management from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand and Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Silchar, India. He worked in various capacities in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests. He served as the Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Commission of Bhutan and completed his tenure.
