Dasho Karma Yezer Raydi serves as the Chairman of Druk Holding and Investments (DHI) and as the Chairman of the Board of State Mining Corporation Limited (SMCL). He holds a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the Nippon Institute of Technology, Japan, and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the University of Roorkee, India. With more than 27 years of distinguished leadership experience, Dasho Karma has served in several key positions across the public sector and state-owned enterprises. His notable appointments include serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Druk Holding and Investments (DHI) and as an Eminent Member of the National Council of Bhutan. His extensive expertise in governance, infrastructure development, public administration, and corporate leadership provides strategic direction to the Board of SMCL.

Director General, Office of Cabinet Affairs and Strategic Coordination, Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet

Mr. Chencho serves as the Director General of the Office of Cabinet Affairs and Strategic Coordination under the Office of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and is an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of State Mining Corporation Limited. Mr. Chencho holds a Master of Applied Science in Information Systems from RMIT University, Australia, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Sherubtse College, Bhutan. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Chief Programme Officer at the Gross National Happiness Commission (GNHC) and previously served as a Board Director of the National Digital Identity and Related Corporation Limited (NDRCL). Through these roles, he has gained extensive experience in public policy, strategic planning, digital transformation, and institutional development. His expertise in information systems, governance, and strategic coordination provides valuable perspectives to the Board. His contribution strengthens the Board's oversight in areas of digital innovation, policy alignment, institutional governance, and sustainable organizational growth.

Melam Zangpo

Melam Zangpo

Dzongdag, Samtse Dzongkhag

Mr. Melam Zangpo serves as the Dzongdag of Samtse Dzongkhag and is an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of State Mining Corporation Limited.

He has served in key roles across local government, central administration, and international development. Prior to his current appointment, he served as the Dzongdag of Haa Dzongkhag, where he spearheaded socio-economic development initiatives and strengthened local governance and public service delivery. Mr. Melam holds a Master of Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management, Philippines, a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Sherubtse College, Bhutan, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration from the Royal Institute of Management, Thimphu. His extensive expertise in public administration, governance, policy implementation, and regional development brings valuable strategic perspective to the Board. His experience enhances the Board's effectiveness in corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable business practices, contributing to the Company's long-term growth and value creation.

Nagtsho Dorji

Nagtsho Dorji

Director, Department of Culture & Dzongkha Development

Nagtsho Dorji is the Director of the Department of Culture & Dzongkha Development, which is the central agency responsible for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage including the national language of Bhutan. She is an accomplished professional with a Master’s Degree in Archaeology of Buildings from the University of York, England (2006 – 2007), and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Hisdutan College of Engineering (university of Madras, Chennai, India. 1996 – 2001). With a career spanning over two decades, she has held various roles in theMinistry of Home and Cultural Affairs, Department of Culture, starting as an Assistant Architect in 2002 and progressing to the role of Director in 2020. Her contributions to the conservation of Architectural heritage and heritage sites have been recognized with the prestigious National Order of Merit Gold from His Majesty the King during the 112th National day in 2019.

Ugen Tashi

Ugen Tashi

General Manager, Ground Operations and Catering, DrukAir Corporation Limited

Mr. Ugen Tashi serves as the General Manager for Ground Operations and Catering at Drukair Corporation Limited, the national airline of Bhutan, and is an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of State Mining Corporation Limited. He brings over two decades of leadership experience across ground operations, catering, sales, marketing, customer service, and station management. Over the course of his career, he has contributed significantly to strengthening operational efficiency, service quality, and customer experience within Bhutan's aviation sector. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Canberra, Australia. His extensive experience in corporate operations, strategic management, and service excellence provides valuable perspectives to the Board. His expertise enhances the Board's oversight of operational effectiveness, stakeholder-focused service delivery, and organizational performance, supporting the Company's pursuit of sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

Jigme Tenzin

Associate Director, DHI

Mr. Jigme Tenzin serves as a Senior Analyst at Druk Holding and Investments (DHI). He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the College of Science and Technology, Bhutan, and a Master of Environmental and Resource Economics from the Australian National University. He began his professional career with the Standards and Quality Control Authority in 2008 as a Civil Engineer and later served as Deputy Executive Engineer under the Bhutan Standards Bureau. He joined Druk Holding and Investments in 2014 as an Analyst and was promoted to Senior Analyst in 2022. As a Director representing DHI on the Board of State Mining Corporation Limited, he brings extensive expertise in infrastructure, environmental economics, investment analysis, and corporate governance.

Kezang Jamtsho

Kezang Jamtsho

Chief Executive Officer, State Mining Corporation Limited

Mr. Kezang Jamtsho holds a Master's degree in Irrigation Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Regional Engineering College, Silchar, India. Prior to joining SMCL, Mr. Kezang held various senior leadership positions within the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests. He also served as a Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission of Bhutan, where he played a key role in strengthening integrity systems, institutional governance, and public accountability. As the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of SMCL, Mr. Kezang provides strategic direction and leadership in advancing the Company's mandate of sustainable mineral resource development, operational excellence, sound corporate governance, and long-term stakeholder value creation. His leadership is focused on enhancing organizational performance, strengthening institutional capabilities, and positioning SMCL as a responsible, efficient, and sustainable mining enterprise.
